Legal

Terms & Conditions

Effective May 26, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Runhaus mobile apps, website, and related services. By creating an account or otherwise using Runhaus, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) to use Runhaus. By using Runhaus, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

If you are using Runhaus on behalf of an organization (e.g., a running club), you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account, including keeping your login credentials secure.

You agree to choose a handle that does not impersonate another person, infringe trademarks, or contain hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit content. We may reclaim handles that violate this rule.

3. Acceptable use during live runs and voice chat

Runhaus exists to make running social and welcoming. You agree not to use Runhaus to: harass, threaten, dox, or discriminate against other runners; share sexually explicit or violent content; spam clubs or chats; or use voice chat in any way that would be harmful to others.

You also agree not to spoof your GPS, manipulate sensor data, or otherwise cheat live runs, races, or leaderboards. Detected attempts may result in your results being voided and your account being suspended or terminated.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create on Runhaus — your runs, photos, posts, and messages. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate the service (for example, showing your public run on a club feed).

You are responsible for the content you post and for ensuring you have the right to share it.

5. Races, leaderboards, and verification

Race results, leaderboards, and club records are calculated server-side using your GPS trace at the time of the run. GPS verification is best-effort — we use multiple signals to confirm a real run was completed, but we cannot guarantee perfect accuracy.

Final race results are committed only after our server-side finalization process completes. We reserve the right to void results we determine were earned through cheating or technical malfunction.

6. Third-party services

Runhaus integrates with third-party services including Apple Health, Apple Music, Spotify, LiveKit, and Google Firebase. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of those services.

7. Subscriptions and in-app purchases

The core Runhaus experience is currently free. If we introduce a paid plan in the future, billing will be handled through the Apple App Store under their standard terms, and we will publish updated terms before charging anyone.

8. Fitness, health, and medical disclaimer

Running is a physical activity that carries inherent risk. Runhaus is not a substitute for medical advice. You are responsible for your own health and for consulting a doctor before starting or changing a training program.

Pace coaching, training suggestions, and any health-related information surfaced in Runhaus are for general informational purposes only. Listen to your body, run at a pace and intensity that is safe for you, and stop if something hurts.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Runhaus is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that GPS, voice chat, or other features will work in any specific environment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Runhaus's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) one hundred US dollars.

10. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

11. Termination

You can stop using Runhaus and delete your account at any time from inside the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly the acceptable use rules around harassment and cheating.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you in the app and, where applicable, by email. Continued use of Runhaus after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
